POSITION	QTY	SALARY IN KD	JOB DESCRIPTION
ELECTRICIAN	40	160+20(Food)	Perform LV/MV cable termination and cable laying. Handle cladding and cable dressing work. Read and follow electrical drawings and layouts. Ensure work complies with safety and quality standards. Coordinate with site teams and maintain daily work records.

Cable Jointing and Termination:

Perform precise jointing and termination of Low Voltage (LV), Medium Voltage (MV), and High Voltage (HV)
Underground and overhead power cables using heat-shrink, cold-shrink, resin, or mechanical jointing methods.
Ensure joints and terminations are made according to manufacturer guidelines, industry best practices, and project-specific standards.

Cable Preparation and Installation:

Prepare cables by stripping insulation, cleaning conductors, and aligning core phases for jointing.
Install various types of cable joints (straight joints, transition joints, branch joints) and terminations (indoor, outdoor, GIS).
Apply mechanical protection, sealing, and insulation systems to ensure durability and safety.

Testing and Fault Finding:

Perform pre- and post-installation testing, including insulation resistance testing, continuity testing, and high-voltage withstand testing.
Identify and locate faults in power cables using specialized tools and techniques.
Assist engineers in troubleshooting and rectifying electrical faults or failures.

Safety and Compliance:

Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, electrical codes, and health and safety regulations while working on energized and de-energized systems.
Ensure the work site is secured and safe, using barriers, signage, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain compliance with local utility company and regulatory authority requirements.

Technical Interpretation and Reporting:

Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, route maps, and technical drawings related to cable installation.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of cable joints, terminations, tests, and inspections.
Submit daily progress reports, testing results, and work completion certificates to supervisors or clients.

Coordination and Communication:

Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, electricians, safety officers, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution.
Attend toolbox talks, safety briefings, and technical meetings as required.

Tool and Equipment Handling:

Safely operate and maintain specialized tools such as cable cutters, crimping tools, insulation testers, VLF testers, and cable locators.
Ensure all tools and equipment are calibrated, clean, and in good working condition before use.

Quality Assurance:

Carry out all tasks with a high level of workmanship and attention to detail.
Conduct visual inspections and quality checks during and after the jointing process.

Training and Development:

Keep up to date with the latest jointing techniques, materials, and safety standards through ongoing training and certifications.
Mentor and guide junior jointers or trainees, if required.
