PLC Technician for Sewage Water Treatment Plant-Saudi

Salary: 2000-2500 SAR

The PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of automated systems within the water treatment plant.

The primary responsibility is to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PLC-controlled equipment and related control systems, ensuring optimal plant performance and continuous water treatment processes.

• Perform installation, programming, and configuration of PLC systems, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA, and other automation components used in the water treatment plant.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections of all control panels, PLC units, and associated electrical and electronic equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in PLC-controlled systems, including wiring, sensor integration, I/O modules, and communication networks.
• Collaborate with engineers, plant operators, and maintenance teams to modify or upgrade existing automation systems to enhance process efficiency and reliability.
• Interpret electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and PLC logic programs to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, environmental regulations, and plant operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of PLC programs, equipment changes, maintenance records, and technical reports.
• Support the commissioning of new equipment, software updates, and system expansions as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant processes and minimize equipment failures.
• Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on automation system operations and basic troubleshooting techniques
